Hi, 我是戚云亭，现任华东理工大学社会与公共管理学院社会学系副教授、硕士生导师。我的研究主要关注海归人才和国际学术流动，探讨跨国流动如何与城市空间、全球化结构及日常实践相互交织，以及这些看似普通的日常如何塑造个体的身份认同、情感体验与后续流动选择。近年来，我的研究逐渐延伸至国际人才政策及相关治理议题，同时也开始关注人工智能的发展如何影响国际迁移以及青年的日常生活。我先后在华东师范大学、新加坡国立大学和伦敦大学皇家霍洛威学院接受地理学训练，加入华东理工大学后也在思考人文地理学和社会学之间的学科对话。

Hi world! I am QI Yunting, an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology, School of Social and Public Administration, East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), Shanghai. Prior to joining ECUST, I received my PhD degree from Royal Holloway University of London, Master of Social Sciences from National University of Singapore and Bachelor of Science from East China Normal University. My research focuses broadly on transnational highly-skilled migration, international student mobilities, everyday life, and emotions. My current work focuses on the group of 海归, which means returned Chinese talents, and Chinese students who go for overseas education, examining how transnational mobility is intertwined with urban space, globalisation, and everyday practices, and how seemingly ordinary experiences shape people's identities, emotions, and subsequent mobility choices. More recently, my research has expanded to international talent governance and the interactions between AI and everyday lives of urban youth.
